The mission of The Institute for International Connections is to provide links, partnerships, programs and opportunities which lead to the development of strong cross-cultural networks in which human service providers can • illuminate their practice; • contribute to the healing process often required by individuals, families, and communities; • learn from each other about recovery from oppression, trauma, and war; • enlarge their knowledge of the global community; and • explore the transfer of effective social strategies from one country to another, through direct experience.
