Steven Young is a unique colleague among the world's most highly skilled people helpers.  He has combined Virginia Satir's renown methods of Human Validation with traditional folk ways of revealing the deep psyche.   He has studied Mexican folk healing and has worked for many years with alcoholism, substance abuse and other addictive disorders.  Continuing many years of intensive study with Virginia Satir, he is the founder of Peoplemaking of Colorado and a member of The Satir network AVANTA, an international therapeutic and teaching association; serving on the governing board at the time of Virginia's death.

Among the familiar haunts of human beings is the sense that there are things beyond what we may know. No need to rationalize this natural co- evolution of greater knowledge and even greater mystery. Steven Young counsels individuals, families and groups.  He conducts specific training for therapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists,health and mental health professionals and students, social service organizations, businesses, refugee communities and social and political organizations.  His work has taken him to Europe, Asia, the Philippines, Central America, Canada and all over the United States.
